What ages do you cater for?

Mad Hatter House accepts children between the ages of six weeks to six years.

What hours are you open?

Our service is open for early learning between 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday.

Our office hours are 7:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday. 

Do you open during school holidays?

Mad Hatter House operates for fifty weeks of the year, with a two week closing period over Christmas/New Year. We also close on Public Holidays.

What are your fees?

Many of our families are eligible for Child Care Subsidy through Centrelink and pay a proportion of this full fee. Please click here to find out more about your CCS eligibility are rate, including updated information about changes coming this July.

Our fees are as follows:

$125/day for Nonna's Nook

$115/day for Grandma's Gables

$105/day for Poppy's Place.

What is included in the fee?

Our fees include:​

  • Inclusive educational program 

  • Highly trained and experienced staff and educators 

  • Staffing above regulation ratios 

  • Regular excursions and incursions 

  • Cooking experiences 

  • Sustainable learning practices such as gardening – “Plant to Plate” projects 

  • Nappies and wipes 

  • Daily fruit and vegetable box 

  • Early morning toast time 

  • Late afternoon snacks and crackers 

Do you have a waitlist?

In most instances Mad Hatter House has a waitlist. We do however encourage you to contact us to discuss your individual needs and we will do our best to have you join our family as soon as possible.
